"THE ARCTIC CIRCLE OF FRIENDS - SUMMER FUN"
1) Hi, My name is Jasper.
2) And these are my friends.
3) Cinta the polar bear, she likes cuddles.
4) Wilson the walrus, he likes to swim.
5) Adam the hare, he is always munching on grass.
6) Nestie the owl, she likes to fly.
7) And me I like to run.
8) We love to play games.
9) Our favourite game is arctic tag.
10) We can play it anywhere and everywhere.
11) We can play it in the water.
12) We can play it in the mountains.
13) We can even play it in the caves.
14) Sometimes we hide in the penguins.
15) But they get grumpy and we run away.
16) Playing with my friends sure is fun.
My Childrens book is targeted at children between the ages of 2-5. I used simple colours and shapes because i didn't want anything to complex so the children wouldn't get confused. For example the Mr.men book series they were very popular books with children and they were very simple. Initially i was going to use helvetica however i thought it didn't quite match with the illustrations so i went with Arial Rounded MT Bold font because i thought of children when i looked at this font it was also highly legible being an Arial typeface.
